Seeking an experienced construction management professional to oversee field execution of a wastewater treatment plant replacement in a remote California mountain setting. The role supports quality, schedule, safety, technical coordination, and documentation so the facility is delivered reliably and in compliance with project requirements.
What you'd do
- Provide on-site construction management and daily coordination for wastewater treatment plant replacement work
- Review contractor submittals, schedules, pay documentation, RFIs, change items, and field reports
- Monitor construction quality, safety practices, environmental constraints, and conformance with approved plans and specifications
- Coordinate with engineers, inspectors, contractors, and owner representatives to resolve technical and sequencing issues
- Track project risks, progress, deficiencies, testing, commissioning, and closeout documentation
What we're looking for
- 8+ years of construction management experience on water, wastewater, utility, or heavy civil infrastructure projects
- Strong understanding of wastewater treatment systems, mechanical/electrical/process equipment, civil site work, and construction sequencing
- Experience reviewing technical submittals, RFIs, cost proposals, schedules, and construction documentation
- Ability to work effectively in remote or environmentally sensitive project locations
- Professional Engineer, CCM, PMP, or similar credential preferred but not required
