Seeking an AI/ML specialist to help design methods that combine large language models with statistical machine learning for domain-aware interpretation of structured datasets. The work focuses on turning tabular or schema-based data into richer analytical context while preserving rigor, explainability, and measurable performance.

What you'd do

  • Develop approaches that pair LLM-based contextual reasoning with statistical ML models
  • Design experiments for structured data interpretation, feature enrichment, and domain adaptation
  • Evaluate model performance, uncertainty, robustness, and explainability across representative datasets
  • Prototype workflows that connect data preprocessing, model training, inference, and validation
  • Prepare technical concepts, research plans, and results summaries for review

What we're looking for

  • Strong background in machine learning, applied statistics, or computational data science
  • Hands-on experience with LLMs, embeddings, transformers, or retrieval-augmented methods
  • Experience working with structured data such as tabular, relational, time-series, or graph datasets
  • Ability to design reproducible experiments and communicate technical tradeoffs clearly
  • Python proficiency with common ML frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, scikit-learn, or similar
